L’Advertainment è la tecnica pubblicitaria che usa varie forme di intrattenimento (spettacoli televisivi, spettacoli teatrali, film, concerti musicali, … ) per promuovere prodotti o marchi. Un esempio potrebbe essere l’inserimento, nella struttura narrativa di un film, dell’utilizzo compiuto di prodotti e di servizi; questa declinazione dell’Advertainment nel Cinema prende il nome di Product Placement | Advertainment, is the advertising technique which uses different forms of entertainment to promote products or brands. An example could be the insertion, in the narrative structure of a movie, of the actual usage of products and services; this declination of Advertainment in Cinema is called Product Placement. |
Sebbene sia ancora una tecnica emergente e, quindi, ancora poco valutabile nei suoi effetti e nella sua efficacia, “gli sforzi nell’Advertainment possono ricoprire un ruolo strategico nel cosiddetto IMC mix-Integrated Marketing Communication mix” [1] definito nella sua creatività secondo una linea concettuale trans-mediale e sviluppato nella sua distribuzione secondo i principi del cross-promotion | Even if it is still an emerging technique and, so, still not much assessable in its effects and in its efficacy, “the efforts in Advertainment can cover a strategic role in the so-called IMC – Integrated Marketing Communication”[1] defined in its creativity basing on a conceptual trans-media line and developed in its distribution following the principles of cross-promotion. |
