Design Thinking & Design-Driven Innovation
“Thinking like a designer can transform the way you develop products, services, processes and even strategy” [Tim Brown, IDEO] |
Design thinking, usually, inside the fundamental domains of planning, was thought useful to reach results such as planning and production of a physical product.
Recently, "Design Thinking" is gaining more and more attention in parallel with the progression of the studies about managerial and organizational innovation, as an important method useful either for the development of research and to the definition of the driver for new theories and practices.

The Augmented Reality Experience (ARE) concept has been defined, is developed and realized with a methodic approach which is inspired by some of the theories which define new organizational models, management and cooperative planning practices and management of knowledge.
One of these concepts, for what concerns ARE's design , is the so-called "Design Thinking".

The result is that the approach to the "Design Thinking" planning can be applied also in other segments with a following result which can be not only relative to the production of a physical object, but also for the definition of an abstract concept, an idea or a service.
Design thinking, so, is proposed as an intelligent alternative to the rigidity of traditional process of project management helping to deal with the complexity and to reduce the risks of failure.
It is clear to see, though, that "Design Thinking" is particularly important also in the design and development of innovative ideas and new "technology driven" products and services in which there is a objective poorness of market information and performance benchmark, to which refer in the phase of prototyping and the following industrial development.

Being inspired by these new concepts, the Rebel Alliance Empowering system is activated with multi-disciplinary teams, built ad-hoc for the development of ARE's projects, teams in which all of the members they come from differents study and professional fields and throught dialogue collaboratively they develop and they increase innovation and collective creativity.
The final result of this cooperation is the creation of a "Collective Intelligence" which determines itself so to apply a "Design-driven and Open innovation" strategy.
